Synergy Church was birthed in the hearts of its founding pastors, James & Karine Cencebaugh, more than 10 years ago while they were serving as pastors in Ohio. After praying, planning, and preparing even more intentionally in recent years, they finally launched the church on September 15, 2019! Although the church was forced to close in March 2020 due to COVID, it is now in the re-launching stage, with greater clarity and focus for the preferred future that God has planned for Synergy!
James and Karine have always envisioned a church where EVERYONE is welcome and you can COME AS YOU ARE while exploring your faith in a safe environment. Together, they have dedicated the last twenty years of their lives to serving Jesus and His Church as lead pastors and youth pastors in Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, and Florida. They are both graduates of Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.
Karine serves as the Worship Pastor of Synergy Church, overseeing the weekly worship experience.
They also have four amazing children who are all involved in serving the church, helping to make Jesus famous in Manatee County!
